Friday, at the office is considered business casual days. What does it mean exactly? Business is business and casual is casual so as to combine the a couple of styles? Friday is dress down day, then you know that business casual doesn’t mean how the country, but that does not mean it is advisable to appear nice and clean, but is really a bit ‘more relaxed at the same time.

See what is not business casual. Alginate Moulding Compound
Alginate is primarily used for making moulds of body parts eg. Hands, Feet, Faces etc. It is very quick setting and will pick up fine detail. It is seaweed based and is non toxic. The dust from alginate (as with any dust) can be a respiratory hazard and precautions should be taken to avoid inhalation

Basic Instructions
Powder/Water Ratio = 1 to 1 ie. 1 cup of Alginate to 1 cup of Cold Water
1) Measure out required quantities
2) Place alginate in a clean dry bowl
3) Add water slowly and begin mixing. Mix vigourously to break down
any lumps. It should have a similar consitency to porridge.
4) Working time is approx 1-2 minutes. You will need to work quickly to
make your mould.
5) When set, you will need to cast plaster into the mould as soon as
possible as your mould will start to break down quickly.
6) When plaster has set remove alginate taking care not to break any
delicate parts.
Chromatic alginate will go purple when mixed, when set it will turn to white.

Notes:
Moulds made from alginate will need to be supported. If taking a mould of a hand this can be done by pouring alginate into a jug or similar vessel and then sink hand into it. Tap to remove any air bubbles. When set alginate is very flexible so you will be able to carefully pull hand out. The jug will provide support. If taking a cast of a face or torso, when the alginate has set, apply a couple of layers of modroc over the top to form the support when
removed.

To create jeans with elegant cuts youll need a pair of jeans, a piece of bright-colored silk, a sewing machine, contrast-colored thread, scissors, a piece of paper and a pencil. To transform your custom jeans into a stylish piece of clothes it will be enough to cut just one trouser leg. The second one can stay as it is.

Unseam the first trouser leg you are going to work with on the inner stitch. Then make a stencil for your elegant cuts. Draw some simple pattern on a piece of paper, it could be a flower or a star, or any other motif you want to decorate your jeans with. Cut out your ready pattern and transfer it to denim repeating the motif in the upper part of jeans trouser leg and under the knee so that the pattern overlays the outer seam of jeans.

Chocolate and candy on big-ticket items like furniture and upholstery are best removed with a dash of rubbing alcohol or dry cleaning fluid blotted on using a white paper towel, clean rag or cloth diaper.
Simply wet the stain with a small amount of either, then immediately blot dry. Check for remaining brown smudges. If any residue remains, repeat this step until the smudge disappears.

Bust stubborn sweet spots with a solution of 1 teaspoon dishwashing liquid and 1 cup warm water. ((Blot on, the rinse with water; rinse again with solution of one-half cup white vinegar and one-half cup warm water.

Always remove sweets (or any stain, actually) excess first, then pretest the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the upholstery or furniture.
